Home Windmill Power Electricity

how can I connect a windmill to my home electrical unit?

the wind spins turbines on the windmill to generate electricity....... do i need to buy some kind of an inverter to hook up the power generated from the windmill to my home?

Your wind mill will produce DC (direct current) electricity. You'll need to convert it into AC (alternating current) before running it to the electric panel in your house. There are converters available to do this.

The link to this web site will give you a better understanding of this process. It is a good idea to have a licensed electrician run the power to your house, if done wrong... extremely hazardous!
