Solar Panel Lifting Device
What devices (no moving parts!) Are available that can heat the air using only electricity and electronics??
I have to find a way to heat large volumes of fast moving air (wind) quickly in order to create an artificial thermal above below a wing airfoil to generate lift. What device can be used to heating the surrounding air enough to effectively creating a thermal, which has no moving parts at all, and can interface with a solar panel?
You are against a heat transfer problem. * A laminar flow wing required. - (Smooth). * Heating of the air boundary layer below the band would create lift. (Not required too large a volume either.) * Ensure that the smooth surface beneath the wings hot enough to provide any measurable elevation is impractical. * You will not reach nowhere near the energy required for a wing-sized solar panel. (Trust me, it was thought, not solar, but as for the elimination effective waste heat from other sources.)
