Electric RC Cars are also not as complicated to run as a gas powered RC car. Usually, RC car toys and vehicles can be ready to go right out of the box, instead of having to be assembled, like many gas models. They are less expensive, and easier to find at local mass marketers, or hobby shops. Because they are slower, they can be much easier for the new person to operate, so you are able to spend some time getting used to the controls, how RC car respond and handle, and if you wreck it, they are easier to replace that a gas powered model.

Depending on the size and model of electric RC cars, they will run far longer than the gas tanks will. While gas powered cars only last around five minutes, electric RC's can last twenty minutes or longer on a single charge. Having another battery pack charged and ready to go means even more run time.

They allow families to spend quality time together, and are age appropriate, are not messy to deal with, and provide more run time.
