Uhh .... Solar panels can be mounted on almost anything solid in structure. Usually, when mounted to a ceiling, provided the cover material the roof (shingles, tiles, tar, whatever) will not be compromised, installation of a ceiling is attached to the roof structure, and armor to keep flying. Maybe you composite material can be extended to the roof? Are you saying that you have "light" tiles? What are they? Are you speaking Spanish tile? I do not think Spanish tiles are easy to drill and not very suitable for solar panels. You could mount floor though! I would like to find someone in your area that supplies and installs, you should give a free estimate and tell you if it can be mounted on the ceiling.
