im building a Wind powered Car?

hey you peeps i'm starting a summer project to build a wind powered car,
Now i have £1,000 to spend the idea is that it is a light weight car so
Suggest car:
It will have a metal tube that goes from the front of the car to the back
in the tube is 3 turbines or fans as i call them they will power a battery pack under the cars seats
and on the roof is Solar panels
The Physics
As the car moves at 60mph the wind is directed though the wind tube and is made into power that charges the battery's so the car is always fully charged

Also i need some help with where to get the motors, battery's and wheels plus Fibre glass? or metal body

The fans will add drag to the car, and it will thus need more power. Because nothing can be 100% efficient, it will need more power from the fans than it puts into the motor(s). Conservation of energy, etc. The fans will not help. Unfortunately while the car is moving you can't get something for nothing.

Unless you can park the car in a very windy area and let it charge up overnight, then drive it the next day. But then you would not design it the way you describe, because the wind speed at ground level is much lower than the speed a few metres above ground. You'd make a normal wind turbine on a pole and put it up when the car is parked to charge the batteries, then lower it and stow it when you drive the car.
